Our story

A home in Marrakech where one comes to feel truly welcomed.

Our Heritage

Dar Yuba is a historic home nestled in the heart of Marrakech’s medina. Before becoming a place of hospitality, it was a house of daily life, shaped by time and by those who once dwelled within its walls. From that quiet history remains an atmosphere — a gentle memory, open to the imagination.

Located in Bab Laksour, just a few steps from Jemaa el-Fna Square, the riad has been restored with particular care given to its soul. The original architecture has been preserved, traditional craftsmanship honored, and noble materials carefully enhanced. Zellige tiles, sculpted plasterwork, wood, and restored ceilings converse harmoniously with more contemporary lines, thoughtfully designed for comfort and fluidity.

Today, Dar Yuba is a living home, animated by its patios, its distinctive rooms, its intimate spa, and its terraces open to the Marrakech sky. A place where time slows, where one rediscovers the pleasure of simply dwelling — sustained by attentive and discreet service.

Our Interiors

The interiors of Dar Yuba are the result of an intimate journey — shaped by patient choices, occasional doubts, and a constant devotion to detail. Each space has been conceived with discernment, guided by the desire to be true, to find balance, and to honor the soul of the house.

Nothing here was designed to follow a trend or conform to a fixed style. Materials, colors, and objects were selected over time — through affinity, emotion, and instinct. Some elements stem from Moroccan craftsmanship; others are the fruit of personal discoveries. All are brought together by a shared pursuit of harmony.

This deeply personal endeavor has given rise to spaces that reveal themselves without artifice. The interiors of Dar Yuba do not impose; they accompany. They invite one to slow down, to observe, and to inhabit the space with gentleness.

A discreet and sincere elegance, shaped by the vision and sensibility of those who imagined this house — and who continue to bring it to life each day.
